ATLANTA – Stephanie Davis of Augusta won $100,000 playing the Georgia Lottery instant game Big Bucks.
Get It To Go II, 3232 Deans Bridge Road, in Augusta sold one of the top prize tickets.
"My eyes were big," said the VA program support clerk. "I couldn’t believe it."
Davis, 39, said she plans to buy a car and purchase a house.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $8.8 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Prekindergarten Program. More than 1 million students have received HOPE, and more than 790,000 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
