ATLANTA – One medical assistant had to check her vital signs when she discovered she’d won $150,000 playing the Georgia Lottery. Heather Woolston won her top prize playing the instant game Giant Jumbo Bucks.
Woolston, a resident of Easley, S.C., was in Athens visiting family when she purchased her winning ticket at Jefferson Marathon, 3465 Jefferson Road, Athens.
“We scratched it in the car, and I started crying,” said Woolston, 25. “We were all very excited.”
The money will help the family, she explained.
