ATLANTA – Winning the lottery happened in a flash for one lucky Lithonia woman. Bettie Bryant, 61, is one of two winners each to win $384,245 from the Feb. 5 Fantasy 5 drawing, having matched all five of the winning numbers.
“I was up watching the drawing with my ticket in hand,” she said. “I was jumping up and down, shouting. It feels great!”
The lucky winner claimed her prize Feb. 6 at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.
QuikTrip #0730, 8200 Dunwoody Place in Dunwoody, sold the winning Quik Pik ticket. The second jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Macon.
Winning numbers from the Feb. 5 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 4-14-18-25-27.
Bryant and her husband, Dwayne, have two adult children and two grandchildren.
A server at a hotel, Bryant anticipates shopping.
“I’ll buy some things and pay some bills,” she said.
