ATLANTA – A gas station in Cochran has sold a winning Georgia Lottery ticket worth over a quarter of a million dollars. S & P Quick Stop, located at 386 Highway 26 E., is one of three locations in Georgia to sell a winning Quik Pik ticket worth $258,900 from the Feb. 17 Fantasy 5 drawing.
The other two winning tickets were sold in Austell and Marietta.
William Smith III of Cochran is the winner who purchased his lucky ticket in Cochran. He claimed his prize Feb. 20 at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Macon.
Winning numbers from the Feb. 17 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 13-18-21-25-34.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $16 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program.
