ATLANTA – Reidsville Country Store, located at 116 Bronco Drive in Reidsville, has sold a Georgia Lottery winning ticket worth $10 million from the instant game Super Max The Money.
Georgia Lottery representatives presented the winner, James Flury of Reidsville, with an oversized check Wednesday at the store that sold the winning ticket.
He claimed his prize March 14 at the Georgia Lottery’s District Office in Tifton.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $17 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.7 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.4 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
