ATLANTA – Julian McDade of Tennille just became a member of an exclusive club of winners. McDade, 65, recently won $1 million playing the Billionaire Club scratcher.
S&T Food Mart, located at 1356 S. Harris St. in Sandersville, sold the ticket.
According to McDade, 65, he could barely contain his excitement after realizing he had scored a winning ticket.
“All I could do was smile,” he said. “I stayed awake all night because I couldn’t sleep.”
The lucky winner intends to use his winnings to buy a car and pay some bills.
McDade claimed his prize Friday at the Georgia Lottery Macon District Office.
The Billionaire Club scratcher went on sale at Georgia Lottery retailers statewide Jan. 24. The Billionaire Club instant game offers players a top prize of $7 million and a second prize of $1 million.
