ATLANTA – A Cairo resident experienced a rare stroke of luck recently. After purchasing a Fantasy 5 ticket and forgetting, one lucky winner accidentally purchased another ticket and won two-thirds of the $150,000 Fantasy 5 jackpot from the May 14 drawing.
Winning numbers from the May 14 drawing were: 14-15-19-32-33.
Each winning ticket was worth $50,000.
The Cairo tickets were sold at One Convenient Stop, located at 1413 Highway 93. The third jackpot ticket was purchased in Snellville.
The winner of the two Cairo tickets claimed the prizes Friday. The Snellville ticket has not been claimed yet.
Cairo has been a recent hot spot for Fantasy 5 players.
Last week, a Fantasy 5 jackpot ticket worth $255,839 was sold in Cairo for the May 5 drawing. The ticket was purchased at One Convenient Stop, located at 1979 Highway 111 in Cairo.
Winning numbers from the May 5 drawing were: 7-27-35-38-39.
The prize was claimed last week.
Fantasy 5 tickets can be purchased at Georgia Lottery retailers statewide. Georgia residents also can purchase tickets via the Georgia Lottery app or online at www.galottery.com.
