$50,000 Powerball tickets sold in Atlanta, West Point
ATLANTA – Two tickets worth $50,000 each were sold in Atlanta and West Point in the Oct. 14 Powerball drawing.
Winning numbers for the Oct. 14 drawing were: 21-37-52-53-58 and the Powerball was 5. The tickets matched the first four out of five winning numbers plus the Powerball.
The tickets were purchased at: Valero, located at 3500 Ashford Dunwoody Road in Atlanta, and BP, located at 1007 Kia Parkway in West Point.
Winners have not come forward to claim the prizes yet.
Powerball winners in Georgia have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes.
Powerball tickets can be purchased at Georgia Lottery retailers statewide. Georgia residents also can purchase tickets via the Georgia Lottery app or online at www.galottery.com.
Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is an estimated $82 million to a single annuity winner.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $22.3 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.9 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.6 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
