ATLANTA – A winning ticket worth $1 million from the Georgia Lottery’s Fastest Road to $1,000,000 scratcher was sold recently in Conyers.
The ticket was purchased at Shell, located at 5343 Highway 20 S.
The winner claimed the prize Monday.
The Fastest Road to $1,000,000 scratcher offers players chances to win top prizes of $1 million, second-level prizes of $50,000, third-level prizes of $5,000 and many other great prizes.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $23.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.9 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.6 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
