ATLANTA – A Donalsonville store sold a $10,000 winning ticket for the Georgia FIVE evening drawing on Aug. 24.
Winning numbers from the Aug. 24 Georgia FIVE evening drawing were: 1-1-0-8-1.
Fast Trip #0002, located at 401 W. Third St. in Donalsonville, sold the top prize ticket.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $25.3 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 2 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.7 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
