ATLANTA – A Georgia Lottery player in Adel purchased a $20 Big Georgia Raffle ticket and became the first to win a $2 million prize from the new game.
The $2 million top prize ticket was purchased at Gaskins Grocery, 1103 S. Hutchinson Ave., Adel.
The winner claimed April 13.
Big Georgia Raffle is a family of scratch-off games with $1, $2, $3, $5, $10 and $20 price points. Top prizes for the games range from $5,000 all the way up to $2 million.
Big Georgia Raffle offers an exciting second-chance promotion. Players can enter non-winning tickets to get entries into five monthly raffle drawings with prizes for each drawing including: one $100,000 prize; one $50,000 prize; one $25,000 prize; and 100 $500 prizes.
There is also a retailer promotion with entries based on game activations with five monthly drawings offering 40 $250 prizes.
