Georgia Lottery Players Win Big Over Veterans Day Weekend
ATLANTA (Nov. 12, 2024) – Veterans Day Weekend brought good fortune to Georgia Lottery players, with two Powerball winners, three Fantasy 5 jackpots, and a Georgia Five winning ticket across the state.
Powerball Winners:
· Olivier in Atlanta won $100,000 playing Powerball on the Georgia Lottery Mobile App on Nov. 9. The ticket matched four out of the five winning numbers plus the Powerball. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
· A $50,000 Powerball prize was won in Georgia for the Nov. 11 drawing. The ticket was purchased at JP Highway 16 Travel Center, located at 2781 Highway 16 W in Jackson, and matched four of the five winning numbers plus the Powerball.
Fantasy 5 Jackpots:
· A resident of Dallas, Georgia, won a $186,553 jackpot in the Nov. 8 Fantasy 5 drawing. The winning ticket was purchased at Shell Food Mart, 185 E. Paulding Drive, Dallas.
· An Atlanta player won a $125,000 Fantasy 5 jackpot for the Nov. 9 drawing with a ticket purchased at Chevron, 2331 Peachtree Road, Atlanta.
· Maurice in Douglasville won a $150,000 jackpot playing Fantasy 5 on the Georgia Lottery Mobile App in the Nov. 11 drawing.
Georgia Five Winner:
· Avom Foodmart, located at 1402 Stiles Ave in Savannah, sold a top prize ticket of $10,000 for the Nov. 8 midday Georgia Five drawing. The ticket matched all five numbers in exact order and position.
· A Chevron at 5009 Waters Ave in Savannah sold another top prize ticket of $10,000 for the Nov. 11 evening Georgia Five drawing.
Players have 180 days from the drawing date to claim a prize. Proceeds from all Georgia Lottery games benefit education in the state of Georgia.
