ATLANTA (Sept. 17, 2025) – A Statham resident won a $2 million top prize playing the $2 Million Dollar Multiplier scratch-off game from the Georgia Lottery. The ticket was purchased at Publix at 3620 Atlanta Highway in Athens, and the player claimed their winnings on Sept. 17. Last week, Georgia Lottery players claimed $39,371,974 in prizes from scratchers.
Another player won $20,000 in the Sept. 16 drawing of Mega Millions with a ticket from Fayette Discount Gas and Tobacco, 535 Glynn Street N. in Fayetteville. The ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Mega Ball, and a built-in 2X Megaplier doubled the prize from $10,000 to $20,000. The next drawing will be Sept. 19 with a jackpot of $423 million.
On the same day, a Grantville resident won $11,549 playing the Elephant King Jackpots Diggi Game on the Georgia Lottery mobile app.
Finally, a Georgia FIVE player won $10,000 in the Sept. 15 evening drawing with a ticket from BP Food Mart, 3758 Panthersville Road in Ellenwood.
