Important: System Upgrades on Sunday, September 30
We will begin installing system upgrades on Sunday, September 30 at approximately 1 am ET. During the installation, our website and mobile app will be unavailable, and some of our retailer systems will also be affected.
We anticipate completing the upgrades and bringing our systems back online by late afternoon on Sunday, September 30.
How will this upgrade installation affect lottery players?
During the installation, players will be unable to:
- Access the galottery.com website
- Access the Georgia Lottery mobile app
- Purchase draw game tickets at retailers or from lottery vending machines
- Scan tickets to determine if they’re winners
- Claim lottery prizes
Also, players opted in to receive daily winning numbers via email will not receive an email on Sunday.
Players will be able to buy scratchers at Georgia Lottery retailers and vending machines. Additionally, winning results for draw games will be available at 1-800-GA-LUCKY (1-800-425-8259), although Sunday’s draw results for some games may be delayed.
What kind of system upgrades are you making?
- Players will enjoy expanded hours for purchasing draw games: 4 am to 3 am ET daily.
- Players may select their own numbers for draw games at touchscreen lottery vending machines.
Will the Sunday drawings still take place?
Yes, all drawings will be held when our system upgrades are completed. However, some drawings may be delayed.
Because draw-game ticket purchases likely will be unavailable Sunday morning and early afternoon, we strongly encourage players to take advantage of multi-draw or advance play options for games set to draw on Sunday, including Cash 3, Cash 4, Georgia Five, Fantasy 5, and All or Nothing. Visit your favorite retailer or play online or via our mobile app to get your tickets by Saturday!
If you have any questions, please contact the Player Hotline at 1-800-GA-LUCKY (1-800-425-8259).
